Outlaws Outlast Launch for Win 26-15

DENVER, CO.- The Launch were able to build a 8-5 lead early against the Denver Outlaws, however the home team took off in the second half to outscore the Launch 19-6 after that. Final score from Denver, Outlaws 26, Launch 15.

After strong starts from the offensive unit and face-off specialist Ben Williams, both struggled coming out of the halftime break and could not keep up with the high-power Outlaws crew. Only behind by three at the half, the Launch defense could not find answers for the Denver attack. All Star midfielder Connor Buczek and Jules Heningburg both had their best games this season, but that was not enough as the team's top two scorers, Dylan Molloy and Kieran McArdle only generated one goal each in the game.

This marks the largest deficit of the year for the Launch, but now will move on and look forward to a tight matchup with the strong Charlotte team on the road, followed by a much needed bye week.

Connor Buczek - 4G, 1 2pt G, 1A (tied for 10th all-time for 2-point goals scored with 15).

OTHER NOTES

The Launch enter their final road game in June at Charlotte, next week. It will be the first matchup between these two teams in 2018 as the Launch enter the game 3-6, while the Hounds are also coming off a lose with a record of 6-3.
