Outlaws Main Camp Filled with Talent

July 20, 2007 - North American Hockey League (NAHL)
North Iowa Outlaws News Release

The North Iowa Outlaws opened their Main Tryout camp on Thursday with practice, followed by four games on Friday. Saturday morning will be the final chance for all 80 players to make a statement before the coaching staff has to narrow the field from 80 to the 40 players that will compete for the final 25 roster spots on Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning. Among the 80 players are 17 players from last season's roster and tons of talent that will make the first cut difficult for the coaching staff.

Two all-star games consisting of two teams of 20 players and four goalies will help finalize a training camp roster. The first all-star game is Saturday afternoon at 3:00 pm with the final game of camp on Sunday morning at 11:00 am at the Anoka Ice Arena in Anoka, MN. The final roster will be announced in the coming weeks and the players will be arriving in Mason City in little over a month from now.
