Outlaws gain two points over four-game week

The Kansas City Outlaws picked up two points in a pair of shoot out losses in their most recent four game stretch. Last Wednesday in St. Charles, MO, Kansas City saw the Missouri River Otters rally with a goal in the final minute of regulation to force a shoot out. In the shoot out, the River Otters outgunned Kansas City 4-3 to pick up the win. The Outlaws road trip continued in Flint on Friday where the Generals scored nine goals against the visitors in a 9-2 victory. The Outlaws concluded their three game road trip in Quad City on Saturday. The Mallards used a four goal third period to top the Outlaws 6-2. Monday night Kansas City returned home to face division Western Division leading Fort Wayne. After grabbing a two-goal lead after the first period, the Outlaws were outscored 4-2 over the final 40 minutes. In the shoot out, Fort Wayne goaltender Tyler Masters stopped four Outlaws attempts to preserve the 5-4 shoot out victory. For the season, Kansas City is 26-40-7, 59 points, fifth place in the Western Division.

OUTLAWS TO ASSIST AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY IN MARCH

The Outlaws are teaming up with the American Cancer Society to raise funds for cancer research. During the month of March, the Outlaws will donate 50 cents from each single game ticket sold for a March home game to the American Cancer Society. The Outlaws will then present a check to the American Cancer Society at their April 10th game against Fort Wayne.

For as little as $13.95, a fan will receive a ticket to an Outlaws game, a Back Yard Burgers Combo Meal, and a free Outlaws souvenir puck. The deal is available on Saturday April 2 and Sunday April 10.

OUTLAWS MEASURE THEIR FANS AS BEST IN THE UHL

The Outlaws are pleased to announce their newest ticket promotion, Shorter Than a Stick. For the Outlaws home games on March 30th versus Kalamazoo and April 6th against Fort Wayne, fans that are shorter than a hockey stick (approx. 5 feet) will receive a free game ticket. Fans wishing to take advantage of this promotion must go to the Kemper Arena Box Office on the day of the game and to get "measured" against a hockey stick. Every fan that is shorter than the stick will receive one free ticket to that night's game.

OUTLAWS AND JUVENILE DIABETES TEAM UP FOR APRIL 1ST FUNDRAISER

The Outlaws and The Emilie Rosebud Diabetes Research Foundation are partnering for an April 1st fundraiser when the Outlaws host the Quad City Mallards. During the game, there will be live and silent auctions with many sports and entertainment items. Some of the items that will be available for auction include a Nolan Ryan autographed baseball, a Seattle SuperSonics autographed basketball, a Dale Earnhardt Jr. life size autograph cut out, and a Chiefs and Royals opening day package. FARMLAND FOODS AND OUTLAWS OFFER APRIL 1ST TICKET PROMOTION

The Outlaws and Farmland Foods are offering fans a great way to see the Outlaws battle the Quad City Mallards on April 1st. Anyone that presents a receipt from a Farmland Foods purchase OR a Farmland Foods product wrapper at the Kemper Arena Box Office will receive two free tickets to the April 1st game (best available seats). Tickets for this promotion may be claimed now up until April 1st.

MOLSON CANADIAN CORNER OPEN FOR BUSINESS

The Outlaws newest in game promotion, the Molson Canadian Corner, is now open to the public. Fans are able to see each and every Outlaws game from ice level, with only a sheet of glass separating them from the fierce on ice action. While in the Molson Canadian Corner, fans can enjoy food and their favorite ice-cold beverages. The Molson Canadian Corner is located in the north end of Kemper Arena and can be accessed by Sections 115 & 116. The Molson Canadian Corner is the COOLEST place to watch Outlaws hockey.
