Outlaws Defend Winning Streak
April 9, 2010 - Indoor Football League (IFL)
Billings Outlaws News Release
During Sunday's game at MetraPark Arena, the Outlaws will be shooting for a number of statistical achievements against their rivals, the Colorado Ice who will be playing hard for their first win of this season as well as in hopes of crushing their eight-game losing streak dating back to last season.
Coming off of last week's difficult loss in Sioux Falls, the Outlaws are looking for their seventeenth consecutive win against the Ice - a streak that began on May 31, 2008. With this win, the Outlaws would improve to 8-2 all-time against the Ice.
For fans who have been missing #22, integral Outlaws running back Tim Brown, rest assured he will be back Sunday night to help propel his team to this must-have victory.
Outlaws head coach, Heron O'Neal will be on the field with the hope of leading the team to his 55th overall victory, as his current record is 54-16 with the Outlaws. Today's win would improve the Outlaws' home record to 35-2 under O'Neal since he joined the team in 2006.
Fans won't want to miss this must see game!
