
Outlaws' Dance Team Schedules Workshop

Mason City (IA) The creation of the first-ever North Iowa Outlaws' dance team will move closer to reality this week when the team conducts its' first workshop session at the Fairgrounds Arena. Following an initial tryout on September 24th, a handful of potential dancers have been invited back to participate in a one-day training camp on Saturday October 3rd at 10am at the Fairgrounds Arena.
Anyone still interested in auditioning may do so on Oct. 3rd but must contact the Outlaws by Friday to pre-register.
"We are very excited by the performers we've seen and have invited back to continue the process" said Outlaws' General Manager Steve Strasheim.
The training camp will be conducted by Outlaws' dance team coordinator Jami Hepperly who will go over some of the basic routines the team will use during the season and practice those.
An unveiling of the dance team name, uniforms and official start date will be announced after October 3rd.
"This is becoming a reality and the fans are very excited" added director of communications Scott Montesano. "We couldn't be happier."
The North Iowa Outlaws Hockey Club is in its fourth season as members of the North American Hockey League. The NAHL is the nation's largest Junior A hockey league and is now in its 33nd year of operation. For more information, visit northiowaoutlaws.com or call (641) 424-5468.
Outlaws home games are played at the North Iowa Ice Arena in Mason City, IA. All games will be broadcasted on northiowaoutlaws.com and video broadcast through B/2 Network.
