OurSports Central Names UFL Players of the Week

Florida Tuskers quarterback Brooks Bollinger, Tuskers linebacker Odell Thurman and Hartford Colonials safety Marshall McDuffie were named the OurSports Central United Football League Offensive, Defensive and Special Teams Players of the Week respectively, for week one of the UFL season.

Bollinger was 22-37 passing for 308 yards, two touchdowns and one interception in the Tuskers 27-20 victory over the Las Vegas Locomotives. Bollinger earned MVP accolades in the UFL last season. He played six seasons in the NFL with three teams: the New York Jets, Minnesota Vikings and Dallas Cowboys from 2003 to 2008.

Thurman recorded three tackles and one interception in the Tuskers' victory over the Locomotives. Thurman played one season in the NFL with the Cincinnati Bengals in 2005.

McDuffie blocked a punt in the second quarter in the Colonials' 27-10 win over the Sacramento Mountain Lions. McDuffie played college football at Florida International and was in training camp with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2009.
