OTTAWA - The Ottawa Fury FC flag will be raised at City Hall on Wednesday, October 23rd at 1 p.m., in celebration of Fury FC's historic Championship playoffs participation.
The Ottawa Fury FC team and Mayor Jim Watson invite fans and media to the flag-raising on the Elgin street entrance side of Ottawa City Hall, which will be attended by John Pugh, President of Ottawa Fury FC and OSEG Partner, by Julian De Guzman, General Manager of Ottawa Fury FC, and several Fury FC players.
Fury FC finished the 2019 season 8th in the Eastern Conference and will host Charleston Battery, who finished 9th, on Wednesday, October 23rd at 7pm. TD Place stadium will host its first playoff match since 2015 and its first USL Championship Playoff match. The city capital will transform itself into soccer city as the Fury FC has the chance to write history once again.
