Oshawa Power Team up with Feed the Need

(OSHAWA, ON) On Sunday February 26th, 2012 The Oshawa Power teamed up with Feed the Need in Durham to help end hunger in Durham Region! The Power helped donate 100 lbs of food to the great cause. Over the course of the Power's inaugural season the team collected dry goods at various events.
Feed the Need in Durham is a not-for-profit charitable organization that serves Durham Region by providing food through member services. Feed the Need in Durham distributes donated food to food banks, soup kitchens, community service centers, and shelters. Feed the Need in Durham has assisted over 40 agencies throughout Durham Region.
Durham's Team the Oshawa Power is excited to assist Feed the Need in Durham with their initiatives and will continue to support their endeavours!
Next game for the Power is on Thursday March 1 vs. the Saint John Mill Rats at Harbour Station. Game time is 6:00 p.m. e.s.t. The Power need a victory to keep their playoff hopes alive. The 2011-2012 Oshawa Power season is brought to you by Rogers.
