
Halifax's Tyrone Levett Named Player of the Week

(TORONTO, ON) The National Basketball League of Canada is pleased to announce that Tyrone Levett of the Halifax Rainmen has been named Player of the Week for the week ending February 26, 2012. This is Levett's first time as Player of the Week, joining teammates Joey Haywood and Justin Johnson in earning this honour.
Levett, a 6'6, 215-pound forward, averaged 17 points per game in four Halifax games, three of them victories. It was his stellar play and consistent scoring that has helped the Rainmen move into second place in the NBL Canada standings.
