Orr and Allen Highlight Returning Kingfish Arms

Kenosha Kingfish News Release
Kenosha, Wis. - Fresh off of a Northwoods League title, the Kenosha Kingfish are reloading before the 2016 season commences. The Kingfish will be joined by several familiar faces, as Ryan Orr and Brendon Allen will be returning to Kenosha.
Brendon Allen was a key entity of the Kingfish pitching rotation down the stretch a season ago. Allen turned in a season record of 4-2 with a 3.46 ERA. He was able to put together a successful summer in Kenosha after missing three weeks with an injury. After making his return, Allen pitched with a vengeance as he posted an ERA of 2.16 over his last seven appearances.
Allen's last start in the Northwoods League Playoffs was one of his strongest, as he held the Madison Mallards to one run in six innings of work. Allen is back at Eastern Illinois University competing in his redshirt junior season.
The most reliable arm in Duffy Dyer's bullpen a season ago, Ryan Orr, will also be back in a Kingfish uniform for the 2016 summer. Orr may have been the surprise of the summer last year as he put together an impressive campaign.
Hailing from Kalamazoo College, a Division III school in Michigan, Orr was a mid-season and post-season All-Star for the Kingfish. He made 26 appearances out of the bullpen and had an ERA of 1.39.
Kingfish pitching coach Stephen Huff praised Orr for having better fastball control than any other pitcher on the roster. After Orr finishes up his sophomore season with Kalamazoo College, he hopes to return to his dazzling ways in Kenosha.
The Kingfish will open up play this summer at home against the La Crosse Loggers on May 31 at 7:05pm CST.
