
Orlando Predators Victorious Against Rival Tampa Bay Storm in Controlled Scrimmage

TAMPA, Fla. -- (February 27, 2012) - The Orlando Predators came from behind to beat "War on I-4" rival Tampa Bay Storm with an unofficial score of 42-33 in a controlled scrimmage.
The Preds struggled early, trailing 26-14 at the half, but outscored the Storm 28-7 in the second half.
"Although this was not an 'official' game, I was pleased to see that we were able to keep our composure and come back against this team," said Head Coach Bret Munsey. "It was a great opportunity to see what our guys are made of; we're all looking forward to getting the season started on a March 9."
The Predators open their season at the Amway Center on March 9 versus the Pittsburgh Power.
Orlando's Arena Football League franchise since 1991, the Orlando Predators are entering their 21st year in the AFL. In that time, the Predators have advanced to the AFL Playoffs a league-leading 19 consecutive seasons and appeared in the Arena Bowl seven times, winning AFL Championships in 1998 and 2000.
