Orlando Predators Acquire DL Shawn Lemon

Orlando, FL - The Orlando Predators traded their recently acquired #3 Claim Order Position to the San Jose SaberCats for DL Shawn Lemon

Lemon (6-2, 250) played his college football at Akron, where he was named to the 2010 All-Mac Second Team as a senior after leading his team in sacks with seven. He also led the Zips in tackles for loss (10.5), and led the conference with four fumble recoveries and three forced fumbles. Lemon finished his collegiate career with 102 tackles and 11 sacks.

The Predators acquired the #3 Claim Order Position earlier this week as part of a trade with the Arizona Rattlers, who received DB Ahmad Carroll in the deal.

The Predators also announced on Wednesday that CHALK TALK with Coach Bret Munsey will take place on Thursday, April 19th, at Mojo Bar & Grill in downtown Orlando, beginning at 6 pm. Coach Munsey will cover the prior week's game with fans, and discuss what to look for in the Predators upcoming contest. Munsey will host CHALK TALK every Thursday this season.

Orlando's Arena Football League franchise since 1991, the Orlando Predators are entering their 21st year in the AFL. In that time, the Predators have advanced to the AFL Playoffs a league-leading 19 consecutive seasons and appeared in the Arena Bowl seven times, winning AFL Championships in 1998 and 2000.
