
Talons' Quiroga Voted Week 6 National Guard MVP

CHICAGO - San Antonio Talons WR ROBERT QUIROGA has been named National Guard MVP of the Week for his performance in Week 6 of the 2012 AFL season, as voted on by fans.
Quiroga (6-2, 210, Baylor) received 38 percent of the fans' votes on a tightly contested race on ArenaFootball.com after recording 10 catches for 140 yards and five touchdowns in the Talons 62-48 victory over the New Orleans VooDoo in Week 6.
Other candidates for the award included Iowa Barnstormers WR Jesse Schmidt and Utah Blaze WR Aaron Lesue.
The Talons (3-2) will challenge the Arizona Rattlers (3-2) on Sunday, April 22 on Ustream's "AFL Live" Viewer. Kickoff is set for 6:00 p.m. ET.
