Orlando Orange Men reschedule tryout camp

August 30, 2006 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Las Vegas Aces News Release

Orlando, FL. As a precautionary measure, the ABA Orlando Orange Men have decided to reschedule the tryout set for September 1-3. The new camp is set for September 8-10. GM Jimmy Lyons deeply regrets any conflicts caused by the move but felt it was necessary. "The most important thing to me is that people are safe and free from danger. A tryout camp can be rescheduled..tragedy cannot!"

Ernesto was scheduled to move through central Florida on Wednesday, but as was learned from Katrina, movement patterns aren't so predictable and anything is possible.

"Although the storm has weakened, the problems stemming from a strong storm are too high to risk and I hope our decision hasn't inconvenienced any travel plans that have already been set. I just want people to be safe," added Lyons.

There is still time to register for the tryout. If you want to be part of the excitement, contact GM Jimmy Lyons at 407 383 4154 or email mastermarkus911@yahoo.com or visit www.abalive.com.
