Bellingham Slam announce dance team tryouts

Bellingham, WA - The Bellingham Slam have announced they will be holding an open tryout to select dance team members for the 2006-07 season. The open tryout will be held on Tuesday, September 5 at 5 p.m. at the Whatcom Community College gymnasium. The Slam Dance Team will perform at all 18 Slam home games from November to March, and also at other events throughout the season.
Last season, the Slam Dance Team featured ten talented dancers, including one who was recently selected as a Seattle Seahawks Sea Gal for the upcoming football season
The cost to participate in the tryout is $10 and participants must be at least 18 years of age. Registration forms and more information are available on the Slam's website at www.bellinghamslam.com or by calling Slam Dance Team coordinator Rendi Tweit at (360) 220-6409.
