Orlando City to Donate to "Row for Joe" Fund

Orlando City Soccer Club is proud to announce a donation to the Sebastian River High School crew team and the "Row for Joe" fund.

"Row for Joe" was founded after Joseph Kelly, 21, tragically lost his life one year ago. Joe was thoroughly involved in the SRHS crew team, and the donation will go toward naming a boat after Joe, the "Smilin' Joe Kelly".

"This donation will help recognize a young man who meant so much to his family, team, and community," said Sebastian's crew coach Tom Lange.

Orlando City's own Chris Jones, the team's media coordinator, was a part of the SRHS crew team.

"The team was a family like no other," said Jones.

"I am so happy to be an alumni of the program, and even happier that this donation will go a long way towards naming a boat after Joe. I know his sister, Shannon, and his parents will love this."
