Orlando City SC News Release
ORLANDO, Fla. - Orlando City SC has today announced the launch of the Orlando City Youth Soccer Network, an innovative new program that will inspire and unite the greater Orlando area by providing personalized youth soccer experiences through the Orlando City brands.
"As we prepare for our seventh season in Major League Soccer, the interest and impact of the Orlando City brand continues to grow, especially here in our local market. We have always taken pride in being deeply entwined and committed to youth soccer development in our community, and the Orlando City Youth Soccer Network represents yet another way we will provide innovative and exclusive opportunities to get even closer to our Club," Orlando City SC CEO Alex Leitão said. "Investing in the growth of the game at youth level will only benefit the future of our game, both here in Orlando and around the world. We are very excited to kickoff this new and exciting program and want to send a special thank you and welcome to the founding members who will be kicking off 2021 with us."
By joining the Orlando City Youth Soccer Network (OCYSN), member organizations will receive exclusive access to the Club's technical curriculum and methodology, youth development practices of City and, as a perk of being under the Club's developmental pyramid, the opportunity to be seen by the Club's technical and scouting staff.
Members will also have access to exclusive player, gameday and Front Office experiences, as well as organization-specific rebrands that will allow the members to use City marks for increased exposure and Club association within the Central Florida market.
The OCYSN will include a number of programs and opportunities for youth players and local organizations to become involved with Orlando City SC including Club-operated camps, clinics and tournaments as well as the newly-announced Orlando City After School and Orlando City Affiliate Programs. The latter will include two levels of involvement, as Partner club or as an embassy location by becoming an Orlando City Soccer School.
Along with the launch, the Club welcomes three organizations who have joined the Orlando City Youth Soccer Network as founding members, opening with active Soccer School locations in Celebration, Kissimmee and Hunter's Creek.
The OCYSN also launches with the following category-exclusive partners:
adidas: Official Apparel and Uniform Supplier
Orlando Health: Official and Exclusive Healthcare Provider and Jersey sponsor
SAI Academy: Official Youth Academic Institution (Pre-College)
Demosphere: Official Sports Management Platform
Publix, Central Florida Audi Dealers, FAIRWINDS Credit Union and Your Local Ford Dealers have also been named as Official partners.
