Oregon Waves Ready for 2011 Season

Oregon Waves News Release
Well known Oregon native, 6'8" forward David Lucas will be in his third season with IBL; David Lucas led the IBL in scoring with 37 ppg in both the 2007 and 2008 IBL season.
Also joining the team is 5'10" Terrance Whiters, who last played with the New York Knicks Summer League team and has been invited back this upcoming Summer. Whiters played 5 games in 2008 in the IBL (for the Central Oregon Hotshots)- Whiters recorded 37 ppg and 11 apg.
The Oregon Waves will tip off the 2011 season on Thursday May 5th against the Los Angeles Lightning. Tip off is set for 7:30 p.m. at the Beaverton Hoop. Oregon Waves Head Coach and owner Terrance Dickens heads up this third year Oregon Waves team; Dickens believes that with a lot of returning players and some key acquisitions, the Oregon Waves will be a contender.
