In the 3 rd, three pointers continued to fall for Saint John as #35 Olumuyiwa Famutmi hit another. The A's continued to struggle with Saint John's high-screen and roll offense. The score was 95-75 for the Riptide heading into the fourth.

#24 Rahlir Hollis-Jefferson (Orangeville) added to his scoring efforts with two back-to-back and one plays, totaling 6 points and narrowing the lead to just 17 points (101-84).
