WHEELING, WV - The Back to Back NIFL Champion Ohio Valley Greyhounds announce the signing of defensive Maurice McClain and place kicker Vedad Siljkovic.
McClain is a 6'1", 170 pound free safety/ corner back from Syracuse University. McClain was a two-year letterman for the Orangemen, getting time at corner and strong safety as a Junior. As a Senior, Mo started all games at the Free Safety position.
As a high school senior, Mo was regarded as the second best tailback in the east (Ranked second to OVAC product and current Lion Eddie Drummond).
Siljkovic is a 6'2", 218 pound place kicker from the University of Maryland. "ACE" was a member of the 2003 Montreal Alouettes hitting on 8 xpt's and a 44 yard fg.
Vedad was born in Montenegro, Yugoslavia. The Siljkovic family moved to the United States in May 1992 when he was 12 ... last name is pronounced "SILL-kuh-vick".
