Enevoldsen has over 270 appearances to his name in the top divisions in Denmark, Belgium and Holland, including 11 appearances for the Danish national team.
Enevoldsen, 30, made his full international debut for Denmark against Hungary for the 2010 FIFA World Cup qualifying game in 2009. Following helping his nation qualify for the 2010 FIFA World Cup, he then started in their first match of the FIFA 2010 World Cup against Holland. He recorded his only national team goal against Senegal in 2010.

Born in Aalborg, he made his club debut with Aalborg Boldspiklub ("AaB") in 2005 and would go on to play 31 of 33 Superliga games, during AaB's championship-winning 2007-08 Danish Superliga season. Enevoldsen made appearances in the 2007-08 UEFA Cup, most notably scoring against Tottenham Hotspur FC at White Hart Lane. In 2008-09 he competed on the highest level in club competition in the UEFA Champions League, against Manchester United FC, Villarreal CF and Celtic FC.
The following season he transferred to FC Groningen of the Eredivise for $2 million dollars, signing a 5-year contract with them. He went on to score 11 goals in 69 appearances with the club. He would then move to KV Mechelen of the Belgian Pro League in 2012 before returning to AaB in the Danish Superliga, scoring 12 goals in the 2015-16 season.
"It's always been a dream for me to play in the USA. When Orange County came up I felt it was the right time to do it, I can't wait to start training with the team and I'm looking forward to a great season with OC" said Thomas Enevoldsen.
