Orange County SC Posts 2023 Preseason Schedule

Orange County SC today announced their preseason schedule for the upcoming 2023 USL Championship season. The Black and Orange will face-off against familiar Western Conference foes and three Division I collegiate programs.

All home preseason matches will take place behind closed doors at Championship Soccer Stadium, with the exception of Wednesday, March 1 against the Cal State Fullerton Titans.

"Our preseason schedule has a good balance to it in terms of competition and the number of games we have in it," OCSC Head Coach Richard Chaplow said. "The main aim for us through this period is to get all the players through it healthy, while looking to give clarity to the group in how we play and what we expect from them."

OCSC will begin the preseason on the road in Carson against LA Galaxy II on Saturday, February 11 at 11:00 am. This will be the only installment of the 405 Derby this year, with the LA Galaxy reserve squad now competing in the MLS development league.

This is followed by a matchup with UC Irvine of the Big West Conference at home on Saturday, February 18 at 11:00 AM. OCSC will play their final road match of the preseason on Saturday, February 25 against the San Diego Loyal SC in Carlsbad. Kickoff in Carlsbad will be announced closer to matchday.

The preseason will conclude with a three match homestand, beginning with a midweek matchup with the Cal State Fullerton Titans on Wednesday, March 1 at 8:00 PM. This will be an exclusive first look at the 2023 squad at Championship Soccer Stadium for our season ticket holders.

OCSC will round out the preseason with a doubleheader at the Champ on Saturday, March 4 against LAFC 2 at 10:30 AM, followed by a 2:00 PM matchup with UC Santa Barbara.

The 2023 USL Championship regular season kicks off on Saturday, March 11 at 7:00 PM, when Louisville City FC makes their first trip to Championship Soccer Stadium. The Black and Orange's highly anticipated return to the Champ will sell out! Be sure to grab yours before they are gone.

February 11 | Away @ LA Galaxy II at 11:00 AM (Carson, CA)

February 18 | Home vs. UC Irvine Anteaters at 11:00 AM

February 25 | Away @ San Diego Loyal SC at TBD (Carlsbad, CA)

March 1 | Home vs. Cal State Fullerton Titans at 8:00 PM (Season Ticket Holder Exclusive)

March 4 | Home vs. LAFC 2 at 10:30 AM

March 4 | Home vs. UC Santa Barbara Gauchos at 2:00 PM
