
Orange County SC Announces Regional Television and Spanish Language Radio Broadcast Partners

IRVINE, Calif. - Orange County SC officially announced Cox Communications' YurView network as its new regional television home for the 2020 season. Also, Orange County SC can announce a new Spanish language radio partnership with Tu Liga Radio to broadcast at least seven of its home games on 1220 AM KTMZ this season. Orange County SC rounds out its match coverage continuing with national digital streaming partner ESPN Plus for all 35 USL Championship matches this season.
"As demand for Orange County SC match coverage grows in Southern California, we are lucky to expand our media broadcast offering with such established and respected media partners as Cox's YurView, Tu Liga Radio, and ESPN Plus," said OCSC President of Business Operations, Jeff Garner. "We are beyond thrilled to deliver enhanced broadcast coverage of Orange County Soccer Club games to such a large and diverse audience."
Cox will air all 17 regular-season home games, select away games and bonus coverage of OCSC USL Championship Playoff matches on YurView California. In addition to live game coverage, Orange County matches will be replayed on YurView California and will also be available for digital streaming through YurView.com in Orange County, Palos Verdes, and Santa Barbara County. Cox YurView reaches hundreds of thousands of homes throughout Southern California, including Orange County, Palos Verdes, and Santa Barbara.

"We have a long history of carrying diverse content and local programming on our channel lineup, and we're excited to televise the Orange County SC games and bring the team closer to their fans and community."
The 2020 Tu Liga radio partnership will cover seven OCSC home games on 1220 AM KTMZ including matches versus Phoenix Rising FC on April 17, OKC Energy FC on May 29, Austin Bold FC on June 6, LA Galaxy II on July 25, San Antonio FC on August 12, and Colorado Switchbacks FC on October 17. The final match of the broadcast season will be added later, based on popular demand and air availability. The Spanish language radio broadcast will include extensive pregame, halftime and postgame coverage including live call-ins, exclusive player interviews, and on-air ticket giveaways. In addition, prior to each game, Tu Liga Radio's promotions team will be onsite, highlighting new content, giving away great promotional items and engaging with OCSC fans.

Veteran play-by-play broadcaster Armando Aguayo becomes the first-ever Spanish radio "Voice of Orange County SC." A familiar voice to sports fans in Los Angeles, Aguayo servers as the director, producer and on-air talent for two shows on KWKW 1330 AM Tu Liga Radio, as well as experience calling Clippers, Galaxy and UCLA football and basketball.
Color analyst Mario Amaya from Tu Liga Radio has over 20 years of sports broadcasting experience including UCLA Football, Chivas USA and the LA Galaxy.
Orange County Soccer Club kicks off the 2020 season on March 6 at Championship Soccer Stadium in Irvine at 7:00PM vs. the El Paso Locomotive FC, featuring $1 draft beer from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, a 2020 schedule magnet giveaway, a fan favorite Rally Towel giveaway and a postgame Fireworks show.
Orange County SC is providing multiple ticket plan options for fans eager to enjoy the fun at Championship Stadium this season.
