Toledo Mud Hens News Release

The Toledo Mud Hens have announced that their 2005 season schedule is complete. The Mud Hens will open the 144-game season on the road in Durham, NC against the Bulls on Thursday, April 7th.

**Toledo's home opener at Fifth Third Field will take place on Friday, April 15th versus the Durham Bulls with the first pitch coming at 5:30 pm. The special start time was determined with several factors in mind:

-Kids will be able to attend without missing school.

-Fans will not need to skip out of work to attend.

-Better group outing opportunity.

-Sets the stage for a pre and post-game party atmosphere in Downtown Toledo.

Hens General Manager Joe Napoli said, "We look forward to taking advantage of this unique Opening Day opportunity, the first ever Friday home opener. The early evening celebration will allow more families to attend what has become an annual tradition in Downtown Toledo."
