
Open Tryout Postponed
April 10, 2008 - Canadian American League (Can-Am)

(NASHUA, NH) Due to impending inclement weather, the Nashua Pride, Brockton Rox, and Worcester Tornadoes have postponed and changed venues for the open tryout previously scheduled for Saturday, April 12th.
The new tryout date is Saturday, April 19th and will now be held at Historic Holman Stadium in Nashua, N.H.
Registration fees are $25 for participants who pre-register and $50 for those who register on the day of. The registration period will begin at 8am followed by the tryout at 9am.
Representatives from all three teams and other professional scouts will be on hand to assess the participants including Kevin Hartigan, an area scout for the New York Mets, Pride pitching coach John Roper, hitting coach Richie Hebner, and Tornadoes manager Rich Gedman.
The Nashua Pride Professional Baseball Club, entering its 11th season, provides a fun, affordable, community-based and fan-friendly source of sports entertainment. The 2007 Can-Am League Champions will be participating in its third year of play in the Canadian-American Association of Professional Baseball.
