
Open Cup's First Round Match Postpond 24 Hours

June 3rd 2009 - Baltimore MD - Due to a waterlogged field after heavy overnight storms, tonight's scheduled US Open Cup first round road game between Crystal Palace Baltimore's and the Ocean City Barons of the Premier Development League has been postponed. The game will now take place tomorrow evening, Wednesday, June 10 at 7:00pm at Carey Stadium in Ocean City, New Jersey.
The winning team will advance to the second round to take on the winner of tonight's scheduled match between Aegean Hawks FC (of the US Amateur Soccer Association) and Palace's local USL2 rivals Real Maryland. The second round game will take place on Tuesday, June 16th at a location to be determined. The first round pairings were determined by dividing the clubs geographically into eight groups of four and then conducting random draws within each group.
