River City Ballers News Release
Omaha, NE. Michael Jefferson, owner of the ABA Omaha professional basketball team scheduled to begin play in November, today announced that he is ready to interview head coaches.
According to Jefferson, "Putting a professional basketball organization together is a very complex process and there are have many things we've had to put in place. Now, we're ready to begin concentrating on the team itself - and that will require finding a strong head coach, one capable of conducting our tryout camps, evaluating talent, and molding them into a competitive team." He added, "While a 'name' would be nice, what we're looking for is a tough, demanding, teaching coach who emphasizes a full-court game."
For more information, contact Michael Jefferson at rivercityballers@cox.net or call 402 250 7615 as soon as possible. The team is ready to schedule its first tryout camps and would like to have a head coach in place quickly.
Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams.
