Omaha, NE: Bruce Cowdrey hasbeen continuing his path to building a championship team in Omaha by signingkey defensive players. The Omaha Beef are proud to announce the next threeplayers to sign with the team: Marquez Hall (DB), Ferrell McGhee (WR), andRicardo Kemp (DB).
MarquezHall (DB), comesfrom Tennessee State University where he had over 160 tackles and 8interceptions. In his one game for the BC Lions, he had 3 tackles and 1 sack. FerrellMcGhee (WR), comes from MissouriWestern State University where he was 1st team all-conference MIAAand 1st team all-purpose MIAA. RicardoKemp (DB), comesfrom Hampton University after transferring from University of Tennessee. Injust 3 games he had 2 interceptions for 76 yards and 1 TD.
The Beef continue on their journey withCoach Cowdrey leading their path to the 2012 IFL Championship. Cowdrey stated "bothof these corners have excellent cover skills and experience in CFL camps.McGhee is a young receiver with size, great speed (running a sub 4.4 for theNFL proday), and athletic ability in receiving and kick return.
