Omaha, NE: Having worked for several sports team in his past, the new General Manager of the Omaha Beef, Josh Roehr, looks to bring in new excitement this year. Josh is a Kansas native and is no stranger to the sports management industry. After getting his start in sports with the Kansas City Chiefs, he has also worked for the Wichita Wingnuts, Wichita Thunder, Rapid City Rush, and last season played a vital role in the Omaha Nighthawks 4 game sellout streak as their Director of Ticket Operations.
Josh is really looking forward to bringing a new excitement back into the city of Omaha with the Omaha Beef. "One thing I've learned while living here, in Omaha, the people here are very passionate about football. Our goal is to make our fans, corporate partners and season ticket holders proud of the Omaha Beef as we focus our eyes on continuing to build a winning product on and off the field. We look to provide exciting, family affordable entertainment," Josh stated.
With the hire of Head Coach Bruce Cowdrey, as well as Josh as the new GM, owner Jeff Sprowls states "this is just another example of the Beef taking the next step forward in preparing to be the premier team in the Indoor Football League. Josh offers not only experience, but professionalism as well. We look forward to having Josh with us for a long time."
The Omaha Beef are entering their 13th straight season of Professional Indoor Football. The Beef have had 12 straight winning seasons, as well as 12 straight playoff appearances.
