
Oliviero has Successful Surgery

CLEVELAND, OHIO- Doctors Ray Onders and Don Goodfellow of University Hospitals as well as Cleveland Force Trainer Aaron Galpert announced that forward Giuliano Oliviero underwent successful ankle and double hernia surgery today at University Hospitals.
Oliviero injured his ankle on March 13th versus the Philadelphia KiXX, and suffered the hernia on March 22nd at Harrisburg. Giuliano did not miss any playing time during the season as a result of the injuries and is expected to make a full recovery in six weeks.
Oliviero, who completed his second season in a Cleveland uniform, appeared in all 36 regular season games. Giuliano lead the team and was 10th in the Major Indoor Soccer league with 81 points as he recorded 32 goals and added 16 assists. Oliviero was fifth in the MISL with 31 two-point goals. He was selected as the Force Holland Oil Offensive Player of the Year as well as being selected to his third All-Star game but just his first in a Cleveland uniform.
