
Old, New Faces Ready for Another Rush Season

When the 2016-17 edition of the Rapid City Rush take to the ice for the first time tonight in a preseason encounter with the visiting Colorado Eagles, one thing is certain: Rush hockey fans will see a few familiar faces and a whole lot of new ones skate on to the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center Ice.
An abbreviated training camp necessitated by the recent 2016 World Cup Hockey event will likely lead to a plenty of player shuffling before rosters are finally completed, said Mark DeSantis, who enters his first full year at the helm. As he took over last Feb. 17 for Joe Ferras, who remains the team's general manager.
