
Oklahoma City Thunder Re-Assigns Jones, Liggins and Orton to NBA D-League Affiliate Tulsa 66ers

NEW YORK, March 23, 2013 - The Oklahoma City Thunder today re-assigned Perry Jones, DeAndre Liggins and Daniel Orton to the Tulsa 66ers, the Thunder's NBA Development League affiliate. The assignments are the record 162nd, 163rd, and 164th of the 2012-13 NBA and NBA D-League seasons. They are three of the record 56 NBA players to have been assigned to the NBA D-League this season.
Jones (6-11, 235, Baylor) has appeared in 34 games for Oklahoma City this season averaging 2.2 points, 1.5 rebounds and 6.9 minutes. In his previous stints with Tulsa, Jones averaged 14.9 points, 6.9 rebounds and 32.5 minutes in 14 games.
Liggins (6-6, 209, Kentucky) has played in 36 games this season for Oklahoma City, averaging 1.5 points, 1.4 rebounds and 7.5 minutes. During his previous assignments to Tulsa, he appeared in 13 games, averaging 10.2 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 34.2 minutes.
Orton (6-10, 255, Kentucky) has appeared in eight games for the Thunder this season, averaging 2.0 points, 1.8 rebounds and 4.9 minutes. He has played in 24 games on assignment in Tulsa, averaging 12.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 28.5 minutes.
All three players are expected to join the 66ers today and be available when the team hosts the Iowa Energy tonight.
