
Oklahoma Cavalry Family Day At January 2 Game

LAWTON, OKLA.- Honorable Mayor John Purcell has declared Jan. 2 Oklahoma Cavalry Family Day in Lawton when the Oklahoma Cavalry host the Rio Grande Valley Silverados.
With the University of Oklahoma playing in the Fiesta Bowl that evening, the regular game time has been moved from 7:30 p.m. to 1 p.m. Mayor Purcell is encouraging all citizens to attend the game with their families.
With the matinee time-start all tickets will be $5 off. Regularly priced $15 tickets will be $10 and floor seats will be $30 instead of the usual $40 price.
Tickets will be available for purchase at Adventure Travel (Fort Sill and Central Mall) Saturday, Dec. 29 and at the Great Plains Coliseum Monday, Dec. 31. Both businesses will sell tickets on the day of the game as well.
It's a new year, new owners and a new start for the team. Be sure to start off the New Year with a fun, family-oriented event and enjoy watching the Cavs as they take on former Assistant Coach Derrick Rowland's Silverados team.
