OKC Energy FC Takes on Los Dos Saturday Night

OKLAHOMA CITY - OKC Energy FC hosts LA Galaxy II Saturday evening at 7 p.m. CT at Pribil Stadium, 801 NW 50th Street, in Oklahoma City. Tickets are available for purchase at www.EnergyFC.com, at the Bishop McGuinness box office beginning at 1 p.m. CT Thursday afternoon and at the pregame party at the Chesapeake Energy lawn beginning at 2 p.m. CT. English and Spanish broadcasts of the game are available via YouTube Live. The game can be heard on local radio on 96.1 FM KXY.

Energy FC (7-10-5) is in seventh place in USL PRO standings with 29 points. The team dropped a 2-1 decision to Arizona United SC Thursday evening. LA Galaxy II is fourth in the league standings with 40 points and a 12-7-4 record.

In addition to Saturday night's contest, the Energy FC Clasico pits LASLOI teams Pumas OKC against Mexico Deportivo at 3:30 p.m. A ticket for the Energy FC game against LA Galaxy II is also good for admission to the game featuring Pumas OKC and Mexico Deportivo.

The Latin American Soccer League of Oklahoma City Inc. (LASLOI) has been in existence for over 27 years and features 100 teams that play predominantly in south Oklahoma City. Over 2,000 adult soccer players participate in LASLOI. Pumas OKC and Mexico Deportivo are pioneer teams in the league and previous league champions.

Gameday festivities begin at 2 p.m. CT at the Chesapeake Energy lawn. Beverages for purchase, MOB Grill food truck, along with family-friendly activities, are available at the lawn for fans until 7 p.m. Admission to the lawn event is free. Show your game ticket to receive $1 Budweiser, $1 Bud Light and $2 Boulevard during Happy Hour from 2-3:30 p.m. and 5-6 p.m. at the lawn event.

Parking at Bishop McGuinness Catholic High School is limited. Fans attending the games are encouraged to utilize the parking area at the Chesapeake Energy campus located at NW 63rd & Western. Energy FC provides a shuttle service from the Chesapeake Lawn to the game. Shuttle service from the lawn to the stadium begins at 1:30 p.m. For the game August 16 only, the cost of the shuttle is free until 4 p.m. Rides beginning after 4 p.m. are $1 per person per direction.

Stadium gates open at 3 p.m. CT on Saturday. The box office opens at 1 p.m. for fans wishing to purchase tickets to the game. A limited number of tickets are also available for purchase at the Chesapeake Energy lawn beginning at 2 p.m.
