The Aces went on to score six runs in the eighth inning after loading the bases. Reno hit back-to-back RBI singles before tying the score, 6-6, on a sacrifice fly. Phillip Evans gave the Aces the lead with a RBI single before Buddy Kennedy's two-run single pushed Reno's lead to 9-6.

He did not factor into the decision of OKC's 6-5 loss in 10 innings. Andriese had allowed a total of three walks in his previous eight starts combined (39.1 IP)...He was named the PCL Pitcher of the Week for May 8-14 by Minor League Baseball after combining with two relievers to throw the Dodgers' first nine-inning shutout of 2023 in a 6-0 win May 12 in Round Rock. Race to the Top: The Pacific Coast League's top two teams playing one another in early June may have playoff implications although the teams just passed the one-third point of their 2023 schedules. The PCL season is split into halves in 2023, with the first half ending June 25 after 75 games. The winner of the first half - the team with the best record in the 10-team league - will serve as host of a League Championship Series starting Sept. 26, meeting the second-half winner for a best-of-three series.
Trend Setters: The Dodgers reached 40 wins in 55 games - faster than any PCL team since at least 2005, as data from 2004 and earlier is not available. The previous fastest PCL teams to 40 wins since 2005 were the 2019 El Paso Chihuahuas, 2015 OKC Dodgers and 2010 Fresno Grizzlies, who all picked up their 40th win in Game 61...Despite two losses this series and three in the last seven games, the Dodgers are 18-5 since May 9. They are 24 games above .500 with a 40-16 record overall and their 40 wins are the most among all teams in the Minors and only the 41-19 Tampa Bay Rays have more wins in all of affiliated professional baseball, but have played four more games than OKC...OKC's 40 wins are the most by an OKC team through 56 games in the Bricktown era (since 1998) and no other OKC team since 1998 has had fewer than 21 losses through 57 games...OKC is 19-7 so far at home - best among all PCL teams. Big Innings: The Dodgers scored all six of their runs in the sixth inning Saturday - tying for OKC's highest-scoring inning of the season. It's the third time overall the team has scored six in one inning, last done May 19 against Sugar Land at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. The Dodgers now have 10 innings over the last 11 games in which they have scored four or more runs....On the other hand, Reno's six-run eighth inning marked the fourth time this season an OKC opponent scored six or more runs in an inning and was the highest scoring inning for an opponent since May 5 in El Paso.
Repeat Offense: The six runs scored by OKC last night marked the team's highest run total in a loss since an 11-7 defeat May 7 in El Paso. Saturday also ended up as the largest losing margin for the Dodgers since that May 7 game. Keeping Up with the Joneses: Jahmai Jones hit his fifth home run of the season in the sixth inning, sending a two-run shot out to left-center field, but it was his first home run since April 20. He hit four homers through his first 13 games of the season and last night was his first homer in a 30-game span. He also picked up a double - his eighth in the last nine games. He has now hit safely in 11 straight games, going 15-for-30 with eight doubles and 12 walks. The streak is the second-longest by a Dodgers player this season. He has also reached base in 19 consecutive games for the third-longest on-base streak for OKC this season...He has reached base at least twice in 10 of his last 11 games, and since May 1, Jones' .511 OBP leads the PCL and his 10 doubles are fourth. He has reached base in 25 of his last 36 plate appearances over nine games, getting on base at least three times in five of the nine contests.
What a Mighty Good Mann: Devin Mann's RBI single in the sixth inning last night and tied the score, 3-3. During the streak, he is 18-for-49 (.367) with six extra-base hits, 12 walks and 12 runs scored. It's the second-longest hitting streak of Hernández's career, trailing only a 17-game streak in 2016 with the DSL Rangers...The last OKC player with a hitting streak of at least 14 games was Miguel Vargas, who had a 14-game streak Aug. 13-28, 2022. The 2022 OKC Dodgers posted three 14-game hitting streaks, including two by Vargas the other by Jake Lamb. The last OKC player with a hitting streak longer than 14 games was Gavin Lux, who had a 16-game streak June 27-July 19, 2019...Hernández's .442 OBP this season ranks fifth in the league.
Two-Way Street: Although the Dodgers have trailed at some point during 27 of their 40 wins, they have also held a lead in 10 of their 16 losses this season. In three of the team's last four losses, the Dodgers led by at least three runs before falling, and they have also led in the eighth inning in three of the four defeats, including last night. After being charged with only three blown saves as a team through the first 46 games of the season, the Dodgers have five blown saves over the last 10 games...Across the last four games of the current series with Reno, there have been three wins by a team after trailing by three runs.
