
Oilers Re-sign Forward Mark Arcobello to One-Year Contract Extension

Oklahoma City - The Edmonton Oilers signed forward Mark Arcobello to a one-year contract extension, Oilers General Manager Craig MacTavish announced today.
Arcobello, a 5-9, 165-pounder from Milford, Conn. has played the last three seasons with the Oklahoma City Barons. He is the Barons all-time leader in goals (50), assists (83) and points (133) and is second in games played (173). Arcobello has consistently been at or near the top of the Barons scoring lead each of the last two seasons.
He has performed in the clutch for the Barons in the postseason. He has appeared in each of the Barons playoff games in franchise history and led the team in scoring during the Barons' run to the Western Conference Finals in each of the last two seasons.
Arcobello represented the Barons at the 2013 AHL All Star Classic and had three assists, including an helper on the game winner. Following his AHL All Star Classic appearance, Arcobello made his NHL debut, logging 18 minutes of ice time centering a line between Taylor Hall and Jordan Eberle.
