
Oil Kings Leave for Red Deer Today

Edmonton, AB - The Edmonton Oil Kings are set to battle the provincial rival Red Deer Rebels in the first round of the WHL playoffs, and they will depart for Red Deer this afternoon.
The first round starts with Game 1 and Game 2 between the Eastern Conference's second-place Rebels and the seventh-seeded Oil Kings on Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. in Red Deer. The series then moves to Edmonton for Game 3 and Game 4 on Monday, March 28 and Thursday, March 31, both at 7 p.m. at Rexall Place.
Tickets to the first two home games of the 2011 playoffs against the Rebels are available starting at just $15 at any Ticketmaster outlet, online at oilkings.ca, or by calling 780-414-GOAL (4625). Fans can also secure their set to every home playoff game with the ATB Financial Playoff Pass for just $40.
