OHL Playoff Tracker: Scenarios Entering Final Day of Regular Season

We enter the final day of the 2021-22 OHL season that wraps up on Sunday, April 17th.

With four games remaining, 15 of the 16 playoff positions have been secured as all but one first round playoff matchup has been determined.

Here's a look at the current standings. Find prospective playoff series dates and scenarios below.

EASTERN CONFERENCE:

1. Hamilton Bulldogs, 105 points (50-12-3-2) with 1 game left (at ER)

- In addition to being East Division champions, the Bulldogs have won the Hamilton Spectator Trophy as regular season champions and own the first seed in the Eastern Conference. They'll face the Peterborough Petes in the first round of the OHL Playoffs.

2. North Bay Battalion, 92 points (43-18-3-3) with 1 game left (at OSH)

- Battalion have won the Central Division title, clinching second place in the Eastern Conference standings. They'll face the Ottawa 67's in the first round of the OHL Playoffs.

3. Kingston Frontenacs, 87 points (41-21-4-1) with 1 game left (at PBO)

- Frontenacs have secured third place in the Eastern Conference standings. They'll face the Oshawa Generals in the first round of the OHL Playoffs.

4. Mississauga Steelheads, 82 points (37-23-2-6)

- Steelheads have secured fourth place and will face the Barrie Colts in the first round of the OHL Playoffs.

5. Barrie Colts, 75 points (34-27-6-1)

- Colts have secured fifth place and will face the Mississauga Steelheads in the first round of the OHL Playoffs.

6. Oshawa Generals, 65 points (29-31-2-5) with 1 game left (vs. NB)

- Generals have secured sixth place by way of tie-break and will face the Kingston Frontenacs in the first round of the OHL Playoffs. The Generals and 67's each have 24 regulation/overtime wins and split their season series. The Generals have a superior goal differential (-26) to Ottawa's -51.

7. Ottawa 67's, 65 points (28-31-2-7)

- 67's have secured seventh place by way of tie-break and will face the North Bay Battalion in the first round of the OHL Playoffs. The 67's and Generals each have 24 regulation/overtime wins and split their season series. The Generals have a superior goal differential (-26) to Ottawa's -51.

8. Peterborough Petes, 62 points (28-33-5-1) with 1 game left (vs. KGN)

- Petes have secured eighth place and will face the Hamilton Bulldogs in the first round of the OHL Playoffs.

9. Sudbury Wolves, 53 points (23-38-3-4)

- Wolves have been eliminated from playoff contention and will participate in the OHL Priority Selection Lottery to determine the order of selection for the first four picks.

10. Niagara IceDogs, 48 points (22-42-3-1)

- IceDogs have have been eliminated from playoff contention and will participate in the OHL Priority Selection Lottery to determine the order of selection for the first four picks.

WESTERN CONFERENCE:

1. Windsor Spitfires, 95 points (44-17-4-3)

- Spitfires have clinched the West Division title and first place in the standings. They'll face either Sarnia or Erie in the first round of the OHL Playoffs.

2. London Knights, 83 points (38-22-5-2) with 1 game left (vs. SAR)

- Knights have clinched the Midwest Division title and second place in the standings. They will face the Kitchener Rangers in the first round of the OHL Playoffs.

3. Flint Firebirds, 89 points (42-21-1-4)

- Firebirds have secured third place and will face the Owen Sound Attack in the first round of the OHL Playoffs.

4. Soo Greyhounds, 85 points (39-22-6-1)

- Greyhounds have secured fourth place and will face the Guelph Storm in the first round of the OHL Playoffs.

5. Guelph Storm, 80 points (36-24-5-3)

- Storm have secured fifth place and will face the Soo Greyhounds in the first round of the OHL Playoffs.

6. Owen Sound Attack, 76 points (34-26-5-3)

- Attack have secured sixth place and will face the Flint Firebirds in the first round of the OHL Playoffs.

7. Kitchener Rangers, 67 points (30-31-5-2)

- Rangers have have secured seventh place and will face the London Knights in the first round of the OHL Playoffs.

8. Sarnia Sting, 59 points (27-35-4-1) with 1 game left (at LDN)

- Sting can clinch eighth place with a win over London on Sunday. If they clinch they'll face Windsor in the first round of the OHL Playoffs. Finishing the season tied in points with Erie will result in a tie-breaker game for the final playoff position.

9. Erie Otters, 58 points (27-36-3-2) with 1 game left (vs. HAM)

- Otters need at least one point on Sunday for a chance to tie Sarnia for eighth place, pending the Sting's outcome against London. If they surpass Sarnia and clinch they'll face Windsor in the first round of the OHL Playoffs. Finishing the season tied in points with Sarnia will result in a tie-breaker game for the final playoff position.

10. Saginaw Spirit, 49 points (24-43-1-0)

- Spirit have been eliminated from playoff contention and will participate in the OHL Priority Selection Lottery to determine the order of selection for the first four picks.
