
OHL Announces Roster Changes for the 2008 ADT Canada Russia Challenge

Toronto, ON - The Ontario Hockey League in association with the Canadian Hockey League today announced changes to the roster for Team OHL that will compete in the 2008 ADT Canada Russia Challenge.
Added to the roster for the game to be played Thursday November 20, 2008 in Guelph, ON is defenceman Nick Crawford of the Saginaw Spirit, forward Josh Brittain of the Kingston Frontenacs, and forward Ryan O'Reilly of the Erie Otters. Forward Chris Terry of the Plymouth Whalers has been removed from the roster as he is unable to compete due to injury. Crawford, a sixth round pick of the Buffalo Sabres in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft has 11 points in 16 games this season with the Spirit. Brittain, a third round pick of the Anaheim Ducks in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft has 11 goals and five assists for 16 points in 19 games with the Frontenacs. O'Reilly was the 2007 Jack Ferguson Award winner as the first overall pick in the 2007 OHL Priority Selection and is currently enjoying his second OHL season with 19 points in 20 games played with the Otters.
Added to the roster for the game in St. Catharines, ON Monday November 24, 2008 is defenceman Alex Pietrangelo of the Niagara IceDogs and forward Stefan Della Rovere of the Barrie Colts. Pietrangelo, a fourth overall selection in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft began the season in the NHL with the St. Louis Blues where he played eight games. Della Rovere has 14 goals and eight assists for 22 points in 18 games as captain of the Colts.
The 2008 ADT Canada Russia Challenge features a team of CHL All-Stars representing each regional league that will compete against the Russian Selects Junior team. All six games will be broadcasted nationally on Rogers Sportsnet, with the two QMJHL games also broadcasted on RDS.
