OHL Announces Officiating Staff

Toronto - The Ontario Hockey League today announced the officiating staff for the 2003-04 season.
The OHL Officiating staff features four new referees, including Darcy Burchell from Stoney Creek, Peter Kostyk from Niagara Falls, Mark Hicks from Windsor and Rob Palm from Newmarket. Nine linesmen have been added to the staff for the 2003-04 season, including Brian Hoard (Oshawa), Brett Punchard (Scarborough), Travis Riggin (Burlington), Ryan Hutchison (Essex), Jared Hoffmeyer (Grand Blanc, MI), Barry Pochmara (Eastpointe, MI), Mike McCreary (Guelph), Ryan Lachine (Tecumseh) and Dave Pfohl (Brampton).
"We are pleased to welcome the new additions to our staff for the 2003-04 season and together with the returning officials are looking forward to rewarding challenges and meeting the expectations of players, teams, fans and the media alike," said Ted Baker, Director of Hockey Operations and Referee-in-Chief.
