ELMA, N.Y. (Tuesday, December 1, 2015) - Western New York Flash players picked up wins with their national teams over the weekend, while a close W-League match was played Down Under.
Here's a look at the past week of the offseason:
A Look Back: November 23-29
Adelaide Edged by Sydney FC (Australia)
Adelaide United dropped a 1-0 decision on Friday, as Sydney FC earned the shutout win on the road. Abby Dahlkemper earned another start and picked up a full 90 minutes for the Lady Reds.
Football Ferns Shutout No. 7 Brazil (New Zealand)
The New Zealand Women's National Team kicked off a two-game series with Brazil on Saturday, defeating the host country 1-0 in Sao Paulo. Flash defender Abby Erceg sported the captain's armband for her squad and was on the pitch for all 90 minutes.
Australia Earns 1-0 Victory at South Korea (Australia)
The Westfield Matildas traveled to face South Korea this weekend and earned at 1-0 win in the friendly. Flash forward Michelle Heyman was available for the match but was an unused substitute in the victory.
A Look Ahead: November 30-December 6
New Zealand vs. Brazil - Tues., Dec. 1, 2015 (New Zealand)
Arena Pantanal, 6 p.m. ET (4 p.m. AMST)
Coming off a big win last weekend, Football Ferns captain Abby Erceg and New Zealand will look to extend its unbeaten streak against the host to five games with its second of two matches in Brazil.
Canberra vs. Brisbane - Fri., Dec. 4, 2015 (Australia)
McKellar Park, 11 p.m. ET (3 p.m. AEST - next day)
After missing last week's W-League match on international duty, Michelle Heyman will rejoin Canberra United for Round 8. With 10 points, Canberra currently sits in second place in the table and will look to move closer to top-seeded Melbourne City with a win this weekend.
Adelaide vs. Perth - Sat., Dec. 5, 2015 (Australia)
Coopers Stadium, 10 p.m. ET (1:30 p.m. AEST - next day)
Having taken just one point in its last three matches, Adelaide United hosts Perth Glory looking to move up to ladder. Flash defender Abby Dahlkemper has been a constant on the Lady Red's backline, playing every minute thus far this season.
USA vs. Trinidad & Tobago - Sun. Dec. 6, 2015 (USA)
Aloha Stadium, 8 p.m. ET (3 p.m. HT)
The U.S. Women's National Team begins its final four Victory Tour matches on Sunday when it visits Hawaii and hosts Trinidad & Tobago. Three Flash players are in camp with the USWNT, as Sydney Leroux, Samantha Mewis and Jaelene Hinkle will all be available for selection.
