Odell Bradley Named Interim Player/Coach for Road Trip

Butte, MT .... Veteran player, Odell Bradley has been named interim Player/Coach for the Daredevils road games with the Oklahoma Calvary and Yakama Sunkings.
The Butte Daredevils square off against the Oklahoma Calvary, January 8th and 9th in Lawton Oklahoma and then go to Yakama to play the Sunkings on Saturday January 12 th. They will then return home to prepare for the series against the Albany Patroons, January 18th and 19th at the Butte Civic Center.
Joe Clark, owner of the Butte Daredevils, stated "Our players are all behind Odell as the interim coach for these road games. Even though we are short handed with only seven players, they are determined to win these games for Butte. We are hopeful that we will be able to raise enough support to get both Coach O'Herron and Coach Williams back from their leaves of absence."
According to CBA Deputy Commissioner, Denis Truax, "The league is fully backing the Daredevils and will do everything possible to help them through the season." Both the league and the Daredevils are looking for outside investors and supporters.
There were over 1,200 people at the last Daredevil game. "If we can maintain crowds over 1,200 per game and get a few more sponsors and supporters we will be fine," according to Joe Clark.
There are 11 exciting home games remaining in the season and "Season Ticket" packages are being offered at a discount for the remaining games. A "Sixth Man" club has been formed and six people have already signed up and paid $1,000 each to join.
