KAHULUI, Hawaii (August 31, 2010) -- In a playoff appetizer, the South Division Series participants face off for a seven-game set to conclude the regular season as the Orange County Flyers visit Na Koa Ikaika Maui (the Strong Warriors of Maui) at Iron Maehara Stadium this week. Maui, which won the South Division first half and currently leads the division with the best overall record, will face the Flyers in the playoffs as OC has locked up the second best overall record and can still win the second half outright.

With the best-of-five playoff series set to begin on Tuesday, September 7 in Maui, the Flyers and Ikaika will use the next seven games to familiarize themselves with their playoff foes. Orange County's all-time record against the expansion Maui franchise is tied, 3-3.

This week's game from Maui can be heard live through the Flyers Broadcast Network with Josh Feldman on Live365, with the Locallife.com Pre-Game Show beginning 15 minutes before first pitch.

Playoff tickets and information are availble by calling the Flyers front office at (714) 526-8326 or by visiting the team's website at www.OrangeCountyFlyers.com .
