Oakland Roots SC News Release


Oakland Roots will host Anthem Night when they play the first of back to back home games against in-state rivals this Saturday, May 21st at 7:00 PM against LA Galaxy II. All fans in attendance will receive LED gloves courtesy of Anthem. The game will also feature special activities and giveaways presented by the Oakland Zoo.

Then on the following Saturday, May 28th at 7:00 PM, it's a NorCal derby as Sacramento Republic FC comes to Oakland. Sacramento will be looking for revenge as last season's series between the two clubs includedthree draws and a crucial Roots win which led to a miraculous playoff run. Let's show them how we do it in The Town.
