
NYRB II Begin Homestand with Win over Penn FC

New York Red Bulls II News Release
New York Red Bulls II (9-6-8, 35 points) returned to Montclair to face Penn FC (6-7-8, 26 points) Friday night, the first match of a three game homestand.
Andrew Tinari opened up the scoring with a goal in the 19th minute, assisted by Jared Stroud. With seven assists this season, Stroud remains the team leader and is tied for fourth in the USL.
Tom Barlow followed with a second NYRB II goal in the 25th minute with an assist from Jose Aguinaga.
Penn FC got on the scoreboard with a goal from Lucky Mksona in the 57th minute.
Red Bulls II have won their past four home games.
The win pushes NYRB II's home record to 9-2-1 in 2018. They are one win away from equaling 2017's win total at home.
This is New York's first win against Penn FC/Harrisburg since the 2016 season.
NYRB II will return to MSU Soccer Park on Friday, August 10 to take on Louisville City FC. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. ET.
