
NWSL Disciplinary Committee Suspends Flash Goalkeeper Chantel Jones

ELMA, N.Y. (Tuesday, May 19, 2015) - The NWSL Disciplinary Committee announced today that Western New York Flash goalkeeper Chantel Jones has been suspended one game for unsporting conduct detrimental to the League for an incident involving FC Kansas City forward Shea Groom in the second half (81') of their match on Thursday, May 14 at Swope Soccer Village in Kansas City, Mo.
Jones will sit out the Flash's next match in which she is available to play. The WNY Flash host the Washington Spirit on Saturday, May 23 at 7 p.m. ET at Sahlen's Stadium in Rochester, N.Y.
