NTDP Announces 2019-20 Home Schedule

PLYMOUTH, Mich. - USA Hockey's National Team Development Program announced its full home schedule for the 2019-20 season today. It will mark the NTDP's 23rd season and fifth season at USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth.

Single game tickets, season tickets, flex packs, group tickets and corporate partnership packages will be available for purchase on Monday, August 12. Tickets can be purchased by visiting USAHockeyNTDP.com/Tickets or by calling the USA Hockey Arena box office at 734-453-8400.

Below are some of the highlights of both schedules.

Getting Started

The NTDP Under-18 team will kick off the home schedule at USA Hockey Arena with a matchup against Northern Michigan University on Saturday, October 5. Puck drop is set for 7 p.m. ET. Meanwhile, the Under-17 squad begins its 2019-20 campaign when it takes on the Muskegon Lumberjacks on Friday, October 11 at 7 p.m. ET.

College Series

The U18 team has a slate of six games against NCAA Division I and Division III schools set to take place at USA Hockey Arena, beginning with the matchup against Northern Michigan University on Saturday, October 5, and followed by a contest with University of Notre Dame on Sunday, October 6. The U18s will also play host to University of North Dakota (Saturday, December 28), University of Wisconsin (Wednesday, January 1), Boston University (Friday, January 3) and Lake Superior State University (Friday, January 31).

Salute to Service

The NTDP will host a Military Appreciation Weekend with matchups on Friday, March 20 and Saturday, March 21. On Friday, the U17s will play host to the Chicago Steel before the U18s take on the Steel on Saturday. Puck drop for both games is slated for 7 p.m. ET.

Home for the Holidays

The NTDP will play host to multiple contests during the holiday season. The U18s are set to take on the Youngstown Phantoms on Wednesday, November 27, the day before Thanksgiving. Furthermore, the U18s will face off with University of North Dakota on Saturday, December 28, just three days after Christmas. A few days later, the U18s will meet University of Wisconsin on New Year's Day, a Wednesday, with puck drop slated for 4 p.m. ET.

Hockey Week Across America

The NTDP will celebrate Hockey Week Across America from February 16-23 as the U18s are set to host a trio of contests. The action begins with a matchup against the Dubuque Fighting Saints on Thursday, February 20, and concludes with two contests against the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders on Friday, February 22 and Saturday, February 23.

Finishing Up

The U17 team wraps up the NTDP's regular-season home schedule with a pair of contests against the Green Bay Gamblers on Friday, April 10 and Saturday, April 11, while the U18s will conclude their home slate with a game against Muskegon on Friday, April 3.

NOTES: The NTDP home schedule is fan and family-friendly as 31 of the 36 home games will be played on either Friday, Saturday or Sunday ... The Youngstown Phantoms are the NTDP's most common opponent as the two sides will square off 10 times this season. Muskegon (eight games) and Green Bay (seven games) slot in as the next most played teams ... The U18s will be led by head coach Seth Appert (Cottage Grove, Minn.), entering his third season coaching for the NTDP. The U17s will be coached by John Wroblewski (Neenah, Wis.), who returns for his fourth season at the helm in Plymouth.
