Northwest Arkansas Naturals Announce Details of Opening Night at Arvest Ballpark

SPRINGDALE, AR - The Northwest Arkansas Naturals have finalized the pre-game festivities scheduled to take place at the home opener at Arvest Ballpark on Thursday, April 16 when the Naturals take on the Midland RockHounds. First pitch between the Naturals and the Double-A Oakland Athletics is scheduled for 6:05pm with gates opening at 5pm for fans.

The first Fireworks Spectacular of the season highlights Opening Night at Arvest Ballpark as the Naturals begin their eighth season of play in Northwest Arkansas. In addition, the first 5,000 fans to enter the ballpark on April 16 will receive an official magnet schedule for the upcoming 2015 season. The home opener is presented by co-sponsors AR Saves Strike Out Stroke and ICM along with media partners KIX 104, Magic 107.9, 93.3 The Eagle, and Hot Mix 101.9. Fans are encouraged to arrive to the ballpark early for the home opener and take their seats by 5:45pm for the start of our pre-game ceremonies.

The pre-game ceremony at Arvest Ballpark will include the following events:

- Naturals Hall of Fame Ceremony - The Naturals will induct the 3rd member into the Naturals Hall of Fame. Nominees include 1B Eric Hosmer, 1B Kila Ka'aihue, 3B Mike Moustakas, and C Salvador Perez.

- 5-Year Anniversary of the 2010 Texas League Championship - The 2015 season marks the 5-year anniversary of the Naturals Texas League Championship. A video tribute will be shown on the videoboard prior to the game.

- Special Ceremony Commemorating the Royals American League Championship

- Helicopter courtesy of AR Saves Strike Out Stroke delivering the Game Ball

- Special Guests include Kansas City Royals' owner David Glass & Springdale Mayor Doug Sprouse

- Special Entrances by Strike the Sasquatch and Sinker the Lake Creature

- Buck Night - The first Buck Night of the 2015 season features select Items for $1 at the Arvest Ballpark Concession Stands including: Farm Rich Mozzarella Sticks & Peanuts.

- Thirsty Thursday - Thirsty Thursday features Miller High Life 16oz. drafts for only $2 at specific locations along the concourse & $1 small Coca-Cola fountain drinks from the concessions stands.

Single game tickets start as low as $7 and are on sale now for fans. Tickets can be purchased at the Arvest Ballpark Box Office, online at nwanaturals.com/tickets, or by calling our Administrative Offices at (479) 927-4900. Season tickets for all seventy (70) home games, as well as discounted mini packs are also available for purchase.

The Naturals will begin the 2015 season tonight in Midland, Texas against the Midland RockHounds, the Double-A Oakland Athletics, with first pitch scheduled for 7:00pm.
