Northern Michigan Predators Hire Trainer

The Northern Michigan Predators have hired Scott Conti as the Head Team Athletic Trainer.

"Scott comes to us with a wealth of experience, we are thrilled to have him in our organization. Scott trains Bubba Berenzweig from the Dallas Stars every off season and works with many Junior A players throughout the year, so having him on board with us full time is a great conditioning advantage for our team." Said Joe Kolodziej GM of the Predators. "The way he worked with the SEHL free agent camp players made our organization see how well he works under game pressures, and the players were greatful to have him here."

Scott comes to the Northern Michigan Predators having been a competitive boby builder and personal trainer for more than 10 years.

"I am just excited to be a part of this organization! The community support has been great, everyone is looking forward to the season and I am looking forward to working with our players." Said Conti. "I will start off with preparing an off season conditioning program for each of our players, so they are ready to go when we drop the puck. This will be the best conditioned team in the IIHL.""We are still looking for interns and other personel to assist Scott and the rest of our staff."

Said Kolodziej. "We will have more announcements over the next few weeks."

The Northern Michigan Predators would also like to announce a Free Agent tryout camp on Wednesday September 24th at Polar Bear Ice and Fitness. This camp is for players wishing to have the opportunity to play professional hockey. Any players with college, minor pro or junior experience are welcome to apply.
