Following a 3-1 campaign with a 3.10 ERA in his rookie season, he was ranked as the seventh-best prospect in the Blue Jays organization in 2007. In his career, he has logged over 200 innings at the Class AA level.
The four-year veteran played collegiately at Bradley University (Peoria, IL) where he earned First Team All-Missouri Valley Conference honors in 2006, going 8-4 with a 2.66 ERA and 101 strikeouts.
